Robin #156 (DC Comics)
Let me start this by saying hands down this would have to be the best single issue I have read this year of any comic book period. This issue is a stand alone story about loss and how a person may deal with the pain that follows. For anyone that loves an occasional nice character development issue will love this story. Do to the fall out of last issue Robin is really facing a crisis of conscience/faith which looks to be enough to push him over the edge. But do to an unexpected situation he not only saves that person but also himself in the process.
The artwork on this book is TOP NOTCH Freddie E. Williams II is becoming one of my favorite artists out there with his work on Robin! The creative team really is clicking on this book from writer, artists, etc. hands down the best Bat-family book out there right now. Guy major really does great work with the colors again by really making Robin’s color stand out on panel. I can’t recommend this book enough if you are not reading Robin go out and grab this issue because the word of mouth on issue it might be hard to find soon! The only bad thing I can say about this book is that the cover was bland.
Bottom Line: Just do buy the damn book already!
