Manhunter #25 (DC Comics)

  • Writer: Marc Andreyko
  • Artist: Javier Pina
  • Inker: Fernando Blanco
  • Letterer: Nick J. Nap
  • Colorist: Jason Wright
  • Cover Artist: Jesus Saiz

I got into this book from the Raging Bullets podcasts Manhunter Challenge I tried it and I must say I love the series.  It was announced a little while ago the book was going to be canceled, but because of fan support the book was extended to issue 30 and more if the book sells.  Manhunter is a great series that needs to keep coming out it is a different hero concept that plays out well.
Do yourself a favor just pick up the OYL later issues 20-25 give it a try you will not be disappointed.

This issue brings all the plot threads from the OYL arc to an end.  Not the best issue to jump on to the series with but I must say Marc Andreyko does two things well in this one book.  He makes it a compelling enough read that would want to seek out the back issues to catch up on the story. Secondly it hooks you enough to want to pick-up the next issue when it is comes out in December.  The artwork, inks, colors are totally solid on this book and goes very nicely with the book.  I hope enough people keep picking this book up so we can continue to explore the world of Manhunter.  Issue #26 starts a whole new bold direction for the character a great jump on point for any new reasons.
