Breakdown

A cowardly professional criminal is lured into a large heist that could change his life forever if he can live through it.

Story

Burbaker does a wonderful job establishing the characters, as well as the city which was a character onto it’s self.  The writing seems fluid, it pulls you in and doesn’t let you go, the one book I have read that made me feel fully immersed into that universe.

Artwork

This is my first experience with Sean Phillips artwork and honestly I wasn’t too impressed.  It some what turned me off at first but by the time I got through the first issue I found the art works well for this book creating  an rough, gritty, realistic tone to the comic.
