Bullet Points Series (#1-5)
Writer- J. Michael Straczynski
Illustrated- Tommy Lee Edwards
Letterer- John Workman
Breakdown-
Let me start off with the description has posted for the trade that will coming out in June " World War II. America needs a super soldier. Only one man possesses the formula to create the perfect fighting machine from volunteer Steve Rogers. But when a deadly bullet kills Dr. Erskine along with his bodyguard, M.P. Ben Parker, Steve's destiny – and that of the Marvel Universe – is changed forever."
I really enjoyed this series, each issue opens with a little recap to show what has changed as of that one bullet. Which is a nice touch to begin each issue. As the story go's on it's really interesting to read everything that comes out of it and figure who's going to be who. I might add it has a great ending that had me counting the days until the last issue. It has somewhat of a "Marvels" feel to it, linking a bunch of stories together type of thing. As for the art i really enjoyed looking seeing each scene and i feel it really added to the story. Edwards has a cool painting style, i guess you could call it. I really enjoyed it. For a scale of 1/10 review
Story-
10/10 I thought the ideas were awesome, and i really looked forward to each issue and seeing what changed next.
Writing-
8/10 I did like the writing, especially at the beginnings of each one
Cover-
8/10 Every cover has the same theme to it, showing the costume version of the person in a large picture behind the person themselves, they look great as a collection.
Art-
10/10 I loved this art, i do comic illustrations myself for fun and this is a really cool painting kind of style i guess, i really liked how Edwards had his own grasp on each character.
Overall-
8/10 I really enjoyed seeing everything change and i thought it was a lot of fun to read.
